Description

Designated as the Missouri Arboretum in 1993, the Northwest MIssouri State University campus is an outdoor classroom of trees and shrubs.  It is home to more than 1,700 trees, consisting of more than 150 species, providing a unique setting for educating students.  The Missouri Arboretum is a place to appreciate the natural beauty of trees while participating in a variety of educational research opportunities.  Northwest takes pride in the professional maintenance of its outdoor educational environment, and is open to the public year round.
