First Congress of Botanic Gardens in South America

The Argentinean Botanic Gardens Network (RAJB) is hosting the First Congress of Botanic Gardens in South America which will be held at the Jardín Botánico de Córdoba from the 5^th to the 8^th of October 2016.

Objectives:

· Provide a venue for discussion and reflexion on the role of botanic gardens in conservation and dissemination of knowledge related to the plant kingdom
· Promote dissemination of research results and technological advancements as well as practical experiments and science communication and education that arises for the benefit of the further development of botanic gardens
· Increase and bolster the scientific and technical knowledge of all the stakeholders in the functioning of botanic gardens in South America
