BGCI is conducting an analysis of ex situ collections of Theaceae taxa using information held in our PlantSearch database. This survey will allow us to identify which species are present in ex situ collections around the world. It will also help us identify any threatened species currently absent from ex situ collections that could be prioritised for future ex situ conservation programmes. This survey will be published along with the newly updated Red List of Theaceae in Spring 2017.
